Manisha Valmiki (Hindi: “मनीषा वाल्मीकि”, born in 2000) was an Indian citizen and gang-rape victim from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, India. She belonged to the scheduled castes and was born into a middle-class Dalit family. Manisha was the daughter of the country who, due to her low caste, became a victim of the injustices of the high-caste people.
No small feat but a very serious crime was done with this Indian girl. Manisha became a victim of gang rape at the age of 19. Four people belonging to the high caste of Hathras forced her together, causing Manisha Valmiki to lose her life.

Early Life, Parents & Siblings
Manisha Valmiki was born in a poor family in the year 2000 in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her exact date of birth is not available, according to the media reports, Manisha died at the age of 19. Her father (name not known) is a farmer and her mother is a homemaker.
As per the sources, she has two siblings in the family one brother “Satyendra” and one sister. She was an intelligent girl. As per the media reports, Manisha completed her schooling at a local government school.
She also helped her parents in their work along with her studies. The talented girl had so many dreams in her life. But unfortunately, all the dreams were broken after this shocking incident.
Hathras Gang Rape Case (Full Story)
According to the media reports, the incident happened on the morning of 14 September 2020 in the Boolagarhi town of Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. As per sources, Manisha Valmiki had gone to gather creature feed (fodder) from a field with her mom.
Suddenly a gathering of men grabbed her from behind and hauled her to a field where she was purportedly assaulted and gang-raped. Supposedly, he was dragged so badly by a dupatta (scarf) that caused a deep injury to her spine.

In a statement with media, Manisha’s mother said “I was cutting the grass and Manisha moved another side to collect extra grass. At the point when I went to look, I was unable to discover her. I followed them to discover my little girl lying barely with blood emerging from her mouth; she wasn’t having the option to talk, her tongue had been sliced.”
Injuries, Cure & Death
Not long after the news emitted about the supposed assault of the Manisha, a few reports guaranteed that the victim got different injuries and she was incapacitated; brought about by the spinal wounds. She additionally purportedly had a cut on her tongue.
As per a cop, the blamed had attempted to strangulate her to death as she opposed them, and all the while, she had wound up staying quiet and enduring a serious cut on it. As per the sufferer’s mom, the offenders broke her (victim’s) spinal string, gouged out her eyes, and made a cut on her tongue.
After the incident, Manisha Valmiki was initially taken to the Aligarh Muslim University’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital for treatment. As per the sources, she underwent serious treatments for two weeks.
According to the media reports, Valmiki referred to Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi on 28 September 2020, after her condition became critical. But unfortunately, she did not bear the pain of her injuries, and passed away on 29 September 2020 at 6:00 am (morning). The medical specialist, Fakhrul Hoda said that she has lots of spinal damages.
Investigation & Accused
After the incident, her brother Satyendra filed a complaint at the police station. The Police registered an FIR under IPS sections 307 and ST/SC Act. As per Hathras Police, they had begun researching the situation when the Manisha (victim) was all the while going through cure treatment at Aligarh’s Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital, and on 19 September 2020, they captured the primary blamed, Sandeep.
As indicated by the police, when the casualty was admitted to Hospital, she was not in the condition to give a statement. Afterward, on 22 September 2020, Circle Officer, Sadabad, Brahm Singh, recorded the announcement of Minakshi Valmiki. In her statement, she named the other three denounced and asserted that she was assaulted.
In view of the subtleties gave by the person in question, the police proceeded to chase for them, and on 23 September 2020, the subsequent charged, Luvkush, was captured. The third accused Ravi was captured on 25 September, and on 26 September fourth suspect, Ramu got arrested.

Afterward, each of the four charges was sent to prison. The denounced were charged for an endeavor to executing under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
