Judy Munro-Leighton (born in 1948) is an American Left-wing Activist and Homemaker from Kentucky, USA. She is the woman who made false accusations against Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. Furthermore, she also withdrew her allegations to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
On September 19, 2018, Kamala Harris (US Senator) received a letter which signed by Jane Doe. Moreover, Judy told in the letter that Kavanaugh and a friend raped her many times in the backseat of a car.
But she did not mention when and where the incident happened. Later, Harris sent Jane’s letter to Committee investigators. In addition, the Committee investigated Kavanaugh and read out the letter to him.
Brett rejected all the allegations and said that all the accusation are ridiculous. Moreover, the Committee openly published the copy of the interview as well as the full Jane Doe letter.
Later, Munro-Leighton emailed the Committee staff on October 3, 2018. In the email, she said that Jane Doe from Oceanside CA — Kavanaugh raped me. She also claimed that she was the author of the letter sent to the Kamala Harris.
In fact, Judy has also told that she was afraid of US President Donald Trump. She didn’t want that the Trump use her name in any rallies. Therefore, she was deathly afraid of revealing her identity.
On November 1, 2018, the investigators able to track Munro-Leighton and talked to her on a phone. She was not from California and but actually from Kentucky. Judy admitted she never sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh. Also, she has claimed that she was not the author of the original “Jane Doe” letter.
